IMAGE. It's what the world buys into.

It's the most important part of your company. It's what prospects see first – it's their first impression of you – and it counts.

Of all the things we're good at here at Crossroads, corporate image building is probably our greatest strength. Sometimes we start from scratch and design a new logo for our clients and then proceed to create a new identity / image. Other times, we'll keep the existing logo and develop a strong corporate image from there.

Whichever way we go, our image building capabilities are used worldwide to promote brand awareness, establish corporate identity, and most of all, help our clients sell product!

Corporate Image - prominence group (click to expand or close)

When The Prominence Group approached us they were into their second year of business and were ready to take their new company to the next level.

The Prominence Group is a convergence solutions company that merges skills and technologies across traditional business entities to support the needs of diverse markets. They asked us to develop a corporate identity for them which would project a high-level image of confidence and industry expertise. After all, they were approaching Fortune 500 companies and needed to look the part. They wanted to look like $100 million company - and they do.

A solar prominence is a loop of gas and plasma in the sun's atmosphere which often extends outward from the sun's surface. We used this concept as the basis for designing their logo.

Here's how we treated their new stationery.

Corporate Image - hitachi

Hitachi Cable Manchester Hitachi Cable hired us as their full service agency. We noticed their existing collateral lacked a cohesive corporate design thread so we started by developing a new corporate image that tied together their 3 product divisions. This was a total re-branding of the company. The new image carried over throughout their corporate landscape including ad campaigns, direct mail campaigns, email campaigns, web site, trade show booths, product packaging, etc.

Corporate Image - icomXpress

icomXpress developed automated workflow solutions for the e-commerce enterprise. The company was formerly known as Keyfile Corporation located in Nashua, NH. The CEO was familiar with our work and our reputation to 're-birth' a company. So he gave us a call.

I remember this being quite a challenge. It was April. They wanted us to completely transform the existing company and re-brand it as a dot com company and have them ready to present it to an international market by mid June - which was only six weeks away! They also wanted the company's new image to be so enticing that they would be able to sell the new entity within a year. Whew!

Yet, again, another company who made the right choice by calling Crossroads. We delivered everything in five weeks. The launch was successful. The company was sold ten months later to Lexign.

A side note... Crossroads has been asked by several of it's clients to develop high-level corporate images for the sole purpose of putting those companies in a better potion to be purchased. Of the ten companies who asked us to do this, all ten were purchased. And all in under one year.

Corporate Image - sakon

Founded in 1999, Sakon specializes in providing wireless international telecommunication services to corporate customers. By 2003, they were ready for a new, big corporate image. They called us. They said developing a corporate image was new to them and they didn't know where to start or how to give us any real direction.

I looked around their impressive offices. The space was filled with personality and character - with it's bright and bold colored walls it actually had an 'image' of it's own.

Without letting on what I was already thinking, I told them I had everything I needed to get started.

Ten days later I returned to present their new corporate image to them. In disbelief, the CEO said "This is magnificent! You managed to capture the very essence of our company. How did you do it?"

By the way, we hear that a lot at Crossroads!

Corporate Image - tradepoint

An established firm since 1972, TradePoint Systems has been the most experienced software provider to the International Trade community on both sides of the Atlantic. While maintaining their existing corporate logo, they asked Crossroads to develop an entirely new corporate image for them - something sharp and 'clean' for the millennium.

We started by designing a photo collage which would immediately define them as import/export professionals, providers of International trade software and internet -based trade and tracking solutions.

We then developed a highly successful direct mail campaign to promote this new image as well as their newly upgraded product offerings.

Corporate Image - beyond components

A nationwide distributor of electronic components, Beyond Components was suffering from the 'We look like everyone else' syndrome. They desperately needed a new identity and image in order to stand out in a very crowed industry.

They called us.

We began with a new name (they were formerly CNS) and a new logo.

The new logo was unlike anything the industry had ever seen. In fact, shortly after the new image was launched, I remember standing in line at a popular fast food restaurant and the guy in front of me turned and noticed the new logo on the shirt I happened to be wearing and said "Hey, I just saw that logo in a magazine - I though it was really cool!"

Beyond Components' sales soared. That was in 1997. Today, in 2008, we're developing their fourth new corporate image. Life is good.

Corporate Image - collaborative financial

Collaborative Financial Concepts has developed a system to allow small to medium size businesses to increase their cash flow. Their market is the the financial community. They wanted a complete corp[orate identity package starting with a logo.

Like so many of Crossroads' smaller clients, they needed to look like a $50 - $100 million company right out of the starting gate. They needed to look credible, conservative and professional. They came across our web site and liked what they saw. Now they're loving what we've done for them. It took them less than a month to close their first sale with the new identity we created for them.

Corporate Image - azimuth

Azimuth Systems was a relatively young company when they called us in to give them a highly professional identity and to make them look like a well-established firm. Someone who's been around for a while. They manufacture equipment for wireless testing and wanted a 'clean' image that conveyed 'precision'.

Back then we asked ourselves - "what is wireless?" It's the transmission of data through air or space. Simple. So we developed an image with a photo, taken from space, of the sun rising over the earth with an infinite series of circles covering the earth (to denote wireless communication). For the cover of their brochure, we then created an image using three marbles to continue the wireless theme while keeping with our client's direction of 'precision'. The 3 marbles convey that nicely.
